Overview
The Pages Module is a core part of the Website section of the SUMS platform. It allows you to create, edit, and manage full website pages without needing technical knowledge.
Web Pages are built and configured entirely within this module, including their content and URL endpoints. To display correctly on your website, each page must use a template that has been pre-configured in the Templates Module. Sections and Section Items are then used to organise these pages within your website navigation, helping users discover and access them.
This enables teams across your organisation to contribute to the website safely, consistently, and without touching any code.
Here are some pages powered by our solution. They all follow a similar format, but also have unique content and details within them. There multiple ways to utilise this application to benefit your organisation.
When should I use this module?

Using the Pages Module
Introduction
Your system may look slightly different depending on your setup, but the functionality remains the same. This is where you create and manage your website pages. Each page you create here controls content that appears on your website. Below we will go through some of the elements within the Pages Dashboard
With the Pages Module, you can:
- Create website pages
- Add custom content (text, images, links)
- Create both permanent and temporary pages
- Choose page endpoints (URLs)
- Redirect pages to other websites, pages or documents
Domain Selector
In some setups, your Domain may host multiple websites within the platform.
Use the Domain selector to switch between website instances and manage the Pages associated with each Domain.
Website Pages
The Website Pages section contains all pages currently available on your website. These pages are typically rendered through a specific template configured within the Templates Module, which controls how page content is displayed and will pull through all the content you input.
What we see is the actual endpoint these pages are located at. So if we typed the main website domain and added these endpoints onto it. They would be directed to the corresponding page. Here we have our example page which is created within our How to add a Page section of this Article.
If we add this endpoint onto our Main website domain name. "https://trial-web.sums.su" + "/working-at-the-su". You will then find the corresponding Web Page being powered by it.
💡Note: If you're looking for a specific page and it isn't visible to you on the Pages Module. This will most likely be a Custom Web Page that has been built with code in the Templates Module
Each Page will have a set of options available to you. These are Info, Modify and Delete functions. These will allow you to have full control over the pages and what you do with them
Activity Pages
Activity Pages are Legacy and aren't actively maintained or used. It is advised to avoid this section of the module
